Until today, rolles are usually made of forged steel materials and their service life has been extended by Hardfacing methods.

With the development of technology, casting industry have started to produce compound steel materials instead of forging steel material. Compound It is made up of two different materials being melted at the same time and being manufactured as a double layer. Roller Press Rolls has begun to use Compound Sleeves as a body, and the lifetime obtained is quite good. Compound Sleeves also can be hardfaced. They can be used for many years without needing to change with the appropriate profile welding.
